I have bought 2 of your dolls so far and I have to say that they are beautifully made and lovely to look at. Ethiopia has always interested me and one day I hope to travel there to see your ancient culture. What a beautiful doll you have.

This is my grandniece, 6 at the time, reading along with the CD. This is a terrific concept, and I hope you have me on your mailing list for any future products!

I have to tell you that [Makeda] is absolutely beautiful. I am sending the doll to my niece, Naomi who was born in Ethiopia and was adopted by my sister. My sister is adamant about keeping Naomi connected to her Ethiopian roots and this doll, with the story and the CD, will help. Thank you so much for making this available and for the beautiful craftsmanship.

I wanted to let you know how much my daughter is enjoying her doll. She had planned to keep it in the box as a collector’s item but could not resist taking her out to play. She poses her in different areas of the room such as the dresser, the bookcase, a shelf, etc… Thank you

We devote a weekly corner of our library to countries around the world. I am so pleased that you are including a book and CD narration. We would be happy to buy each series that you plan to make.

What a beautiful doll. My daughter, Ezuka, has been in love with her Little Mermaid doll. I have been trying to get her to see that black is beautiful and that our skin is beautiful. I did everything…bought black dolls etc… nothing worked…until MAKEDA. The moment she got your doll she embraced her African heritage.

Dear All – Attached is a link to a Queen of Sheba doll from Ethidolls®. I actually bought this doll-it is one of the most beautifully well-made, and beautiful to behold, dolls I have ever seen. I thought I would share the link with you so you could pass it on to others. My husband and I are in the process of adopting two children from Ethiopia.
